Message Boards
I have spent some time at a Suns message board over the last 2 years, and its a great place to catch up on a bunch of news articles about the team in a short period of time. However, I have now discovered the dark side of message boards. I got into a back n' forth with some longtime poster, and it got a little contentious. I included an insult about the poetry he displays at his website (linked to his user profile) and I really had not even read much of it. It could be the stuff of greatness for all I know. But my taunt clearly got under this dude's skin....because his next post said "You know the best part about this? I don't know if the company listed in your profile is your own or not, but I have been e-mailing your boss." So, in essence, this guy found the link to my European business partner's website in MY user profile, and suggested that he was sending e-mails to probably "Contact Us" or something like that....I cannot imagine the content, but it cannot be good. I am not sure if he actually did this or was just making idle threats. But either way the whole episode became something like The Net with Sandra Bullock. So, I am not going to be engaging any more message board denizens in debate any time soon - I have seen how easily it can get out of hand. There is no real barrier to entry in these communities of interest, and I should have kept that in mind before I attempted to humiliate a complete stranger. He is probably like of one those burlap sack-wearing revolutionaries from The Matrix : computationally advanced, and on a mission. A mission to destroy me because I insulted his poetry.

It was a business website, and I just never really considered that someone would become unhinged like that.
Now I know who your informer is.
Why don't you guys get all the facts before speaking? This guy was PROMOTING his website, w/ poetry, at the Suns Message Board. He was ASKING people to go to his site.
STFU, Rainman.
Paladins can fight AND cast spells, IIRC. A valuable character class, indeed.
Rainman: IIRC means If I Remember Correctly
Hmm I love the idea behind this website, very unique.
